From all ocean plastic we collect with Pro Ocean only 42% can be recycled. All the other trash needs to be landfilled which is cost intense and not really a good solution on an island like Negros. We want to create an economical benefit for the locals.

Our decentralized and efficient recycling unit is mobile and simple to use and maintain. It can process almost any of the materials we find on a daily basis into fuel and is also capable of heavily polluted multi layer packaging e.g. We want to empower the local island community to not only solve ocean plastic crisis but to take advantage out of it. Totgether with TU Munich we are building our Prototype right now and would love some financial support.
