Seagrass meadow are important marine ecosystems, providing important ecological services and provides habitat to 1000s of marine species. Due to boat anchoring, pollution, nd illegal fishing seagrass have been destroyed at an alarming rates in Tanzania

Our Innovation targets to restore the oceans healthy and empowering coastal communities in sustainable blue economy so that humanity can coexist with nature. Our solution involves integrating seagrass meadows restoration in our adopted area of 0.5 sqkm at Bagamoyo and farming sea cucumber.
