Students aged 13+ are starved of vital environmental information regarding the planet. Currently this information is supplied only to those who seek it out which means they already have some understanding of the issues we're facing in the world today.

Climate and Ocean literacy. There should be no gate keeping in Education. We have a 10 stage programme for students aged 13+ years to gain a deeper knowledge of the planet as a complete linked ecololgical mechanism. We seed this information at a transformative age where young people are developing their values and identities. The Ocean Academy leverages this critical window to instil agency, empathy, responsibility, and a global perspective to solving the climate crisis. These are not issues of "us vs. them", but of shared responsibility—a collective “we”. Our programme covers problems/issues caused by human impact and the solutions currently being employed to tackle those impacts. We invite students to design their own solutions and give them the opportunity to link with emerging businesses trading in the global Blue Economy.
